Faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ - not everyone is interested. I know I am. And why is that? Because He has changed my life. He has given me hope and a future that is continually secure in His unwavering presence. I rely on the Word of God because it is my spiritual compass. The Bible establishes and guides me in my quest for truth. The words that are found in this book continually cultivate who I am, and my life is forever transforming.
Each one of us has the ability to determine our course. Some do not believe God is real because they cannot see Him. And there are others who are simply angered by the whole concept. I write this blog post to those who are like me 30+ years ago. Are you looking for truth? Are you looking for something to hold onto as you travel through this broken world? I challenge you to do as I did: Ask God if He is real. Sincerely ask Him. My prayer is that like me, you will discover that the God of the universe is waiting to do life with you.
When I set out on this spiritual journey, I was completely unaware of what was written in the Bible. Throughout the course of many years of reading and studying, I have concluded that this is a book you really never finish reading. I enjoy having scripture verses around my home because it is a daily reminder of God's promises and His truths. This strengthens me. The Word of God gives me hope.
